Let's start at the very beginning...

Oh hey!
I’m Katii.
The spaghetti brain.
(My thoughts all loop in and out of each other…
KUDOS if you keep up.)
Let’s be friends.
Even though you are, err….Cyberspace.
And even though there’s the small (*large) chance that
I’m the only one who will read this.
But hey, it’s okay to dream.
So I started this blog because I have so many thoughts
on things and I need an outlet!
Think of it as that Gilmore Girls
(only show I watch) quote from Season 7:
“My brain is a wild jungle full of scary gibberish. I'm writing a letter, I can't write a letter, why can't I write a letter? Yeah…that actually makes sense to me. WEIRD. My brain and
the Gilmore girls’ brains work kind of similarly,
I guess…probably why I love the show.
And because I love lists so much
(& because lists will be so prominently featured on this blog)
I am going to write a list
about what I’m going to write lists about! YAY!

>Film reviews (Oh I love movies so much…older ones
are infinitely better though)

Oh yeah: I periodically switch to Spanish…
and I also love proper grammar

Oh heads up! I’m going to Paris & Madrid in April!!!!!!!)

So anyway, I just got back from
going home to Canada (Ottawa this time)
(Yes, I am Canadian! But living in the United States….ehhh.
Which makes me a Star-Spangled Canadian!
I must say, although the new President makes
me feel much better about living here,
I am the most proud to say I’m Canadian…)
and on the way back my dad and I stopped by the
Ben & Jerry’s factory in Waterbury, VT…and let me
tell you, it’s pretty much exactly how I pictured…
heaven. Heaven on Earth. It was so amazing.
Everyone was so nice, and it was colorful, and they gave out
FREE ICE CREAM SAMPLES. Plus VT is beautiful.
I mean, seriously, for an ice cream-loving Christian,
it was basically like my pilgrimage to Bethlehem…or Mecca. (?)

Hey cool, I actually re-wrote that from memory pretty well!
That was fun! We should do this again…
(Ahh…but tomorrow I have to write a research paper.
Awesome. I like you more, I think.)
